About the studio

Chambit Beauty Studio is a beauty salon in Shah Ali Bagh, Mirpur 1, Dhaka. It started from a simple idea: every woman deserves a place where she can be cared for properly, without rush and without pressure.

The story began in 2022 through ADRA Bangladesh’s Make Up Your Dream project, which trained 136 school-dropout girls from underprivileged communities in Mirpur. The training gave them a practical skill and a way to earn.

Chambit grew out of that. Professionally trained beauticians work here, and income from the salon supports ADRA Bangladesh’s work with those same communities: educational support for children, and vocational training for young people.

A visit is the care itself, and it also contributes to that work.

What’s your skin type?

• Normal

  Balanced: not too oily, not too dry. Pores stay small, the texture is smooth, and breakouts are rare.

• Oily

  Shines easily, often soon after washing. Pores look larger, and pimples, blackheads and whiteheads show up more often. Makeup can slip.

• Dry

  Feels tight or rough, especially after washing. It can look dull, with flaky patches and fine lines that show easily. It wants moisture.

• Combination

  The forehead, nose and chin are oily, and the cheeks are normal or dry. Blackheads often sit around the nose, and the balance can shift with the weather.

Chemically treated hair

Every head of hair is different. Regular care, and the right products, keep softness and shine after a treatment.

• Use a gentle shampoo that suits the treatment your hair has had.
• Condition after every wash, and use a nourishing mask when the hair asks for it.
• Limit straighteners and curling irons. When you do use heat, use a heat protectant.
• Detangle with a wide-tooth comb, especially while the hair is wet.
• Limit long sun, and rinse after swimming.
• Leave time between chemical treatments, and ask us before booking another one.
